 So this is the first real acrylic painting I've done, made for my Art II class a few months ago.  It's on real canvas, stretched out over a wooden frame.  I based my painting off of my own personal favorite photograph, The Sound of Goodbye. There are a few variations, but it was the basic idea. This took me forEVER to do. I'm such a slow painter. It's mostly because I have somewhat of a clue of what to do when I'm working with traditional materials.
I'm at, like, major-sucky kind of a skill level on tablets, since I've never touched one before. xD;
