Well look at me, being all active and submitting another deviation and stuff.

Anyways, this was actually taken back in May, when, y'know, the butterflies aren't down in the south for the winter. My family went for a nature walk in one of Vermont's wetlands, and I spotted this little guy right as we were preparing to head out. We didn't spend all that much time there, thanks to the mosquitoes, which was a bit of a pity - the area had some pretty unique scenery!
Speaking of wetlands, though - there's this field two roads down from my house, where I go cross country skiing most winters, and I just found out that it's been designated as a wetlands area for like the past twenty years and that's why the state keeps it as undeveloped land! We have so few wetlands, they're really protective of the ones we do have. I never knew that about that field, though!

So you actually did a great job at it, me knowing by experience how hard it is.
